After a confrontation with a being from the Otherside, Toriko's left hand is left translucently blue and gains the ability to grab onto incorporeal Otherside beings and portals. She usually wears a glove on that hand. About her family: According to Kozakura, Toriko was born in Canada to parents who were soldiers part of a spec-ops force, explaining her knowledge and training in regards to weapons. Toriko's parents are both deceased, though the circumstances are unknown.
