About her family: Sorawo's mother died when Sorawo was young, leaving her in the care of her father and grandmother who fell in with a cult. Not wanting to be converted, Sorawo spent the majority of her high school days in manga cafés or exploring ruins, even managing to escape a kidnapping orchestrated by another cult. One day, she was informed that the remainder of her family and all the other members of the cult had perished in a fire in the mountains, though Sorawo never got to see their bodies.
