Samekichi was once formally her familiar until Sal had erased her memory. In Normal ending number 1, it is heavily implied that she is sexually assaulted by Sal.... In the true end, Sal impales her with a sword and Samekichi goes after him to the other world. Wadanohara recovers from the wound but she enters depression and eventually cries in Fukami's arms. She becomes the sea witch from the beginning and reunites with Samekichi after a large time skip.
