Though he dedicates considerable effort to devising plans to beat Takagi-san, his training and scheming never seems to achieve anything; Takagi-san appearing to always be one step ahead of him in every challenge he presents her with. At some point he marries the now former Takagi-san, having a daughter named Chi between them. After leaving school he becomes a P.E. teacher having continued his extensive physical training routines in his efforts to beat Takagi-san.
